חִילּוּק, חִלּ׳m. (חָלַק) 1) distribution. Keth.II, 1 ח׳ קליותוכ׳ testifying to the distribution of roasted ears (at the wedding) is an evidence (of the bride having been a virgin). Tosef. ib. III, 1 ח׳ גרנות taking a share at the distribution of priests gifts of the threshing floor; a. fr. 2) division, separation, specification. Y.Sabb.VII, end, 9c bot. יצא … לח׳ it was specified, after being implicitly intimated, for division of the general law, i. e. that each of the implied acts is punishable for itself.
